A Bay Area wedding has more logistics than most. Guests are scattered across city hotels. The venue might be downtown, on a cliff over the Pacific, or a rooftop above the skyline. City traffic, the hills, and event closures all do their thing on a Saturday afternoon. None of that should be a problem anyone in the wedding party is solving an hour before the ceremony.
What a wedding day looks like
We typically run three vehicle types on a wedding day. A couple's car — a black SUV or a town car, depending on the dress. A guest shuttle loop, usually a 14-passenger sprinter (or two), running between the hotel block and the venue on a fixed schedule. And a getaway car at the end of the night, often the same couple's car, looping back to take you to the hotel.
The shuttle loop is the one that prevents disasters. Asking sixty guests to summon their own rides at 11pm — when surge pricing spikes and cars vanish — is how people end up stranded outside a venue. A scheduled loop, departures every 25 minutes, last run at midnight, solves it.
City venues
City Hall's beaux-arts rotunda is the city's most-photographed ceremony spot — tight timed slots, no parking, exactly the kind of place a drop-and-collect chauffeur earns his keep. The Palace of Fine Arts, the Legion of Honor, waterfront lofts on the Embarcadero, and rooftop venues downtown all sit in dense, hard-to-park parts of the city. We know the loading zones and the back ways around event closures.
Coast & park venues
The Presidio chapel and Log Cabin, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Club, and clifftop spots out toward Lands End and the western coast — all gorgeous, all with limited access roads and almost no guest parking. Build the shuttle schedule backwards from your ceremony time and let us hold a buffer for cross-town traffic.
Waterfront & rooftop venues
Loft and event spaces along the Embarcadero, the Ferry Building, and downtown rooftops with the bay and skyline as the backdrop — dense, hard-to-park parts of the city where a drop-and-collect chauffeur earns his keep. Pair the wedding with a neighborhoods photo route, and see limo tours for full chauffeured days around the day-of.
Booking timeline
Bay Area vehicle inventory is finite and peak-season Saturdays (May through October) drain it fast. For a wedding in that window, book six months out. Most off-season dates are fine three months out. We'll hold a soft block once we have your venue and a rough guest count.
